Send a preliminary plat with control criteria, including street widths, minimum frontage at setback, minimum lot areas, governmental requirements, your specifications, etc. I will make the calculations, assigning point numbers to each lot corner, street centerline pi's, pc's, pt's, radius points, etc. I will then prepare a "dwg" using AutoCad Lt and return it electronically for you to plot. It will contain dimensioning and annotation as required. I will also send an "ascii" file of the points containing coordinates and descriptors or a "qcw" file if you are a QuickCogo user. Alternatively, I can send a "dxf" file for you to make the drawing with your own cad system.
ALTA Surveys
Send the field notes, together with explanatory details unique to your operation. I will prepare the "dwg" using AutoCad Lt, assigning point numbers to each corner and control points. I will also send the point file via 'ascii' or 'qcw'.
Fees
I charge on a 'per lot' basis for subdivisions but for very small or very large projects we can negotiate a fee based upon an hourly rate of $20.00. For ALTA surveys or other types of miscellaneous calculations and mapping, I will charge the hourly rate with a 'not to exceed' figure when applicable. I would expect half the fee prior to beginning and the remainder upon completion.
